A We the People petition to the Obama Administration to defund Planned Parenthood was created on November 13, 2012. The petition asks specifically for the administration to "Stop using hundreds of millions of our tax dollars to fund planned parenthood. Where is our CHOICE? Defund them now!"
40 Days for Life national director David Bereit and campaign director Shawn Carney hosted a streaming webcast and teleconference entitled "Onward" on November 12, 2012 to provide a recap of this fall's 40 Days for Life campaign as well as outline the next steps for this life-saving ministry.
In November Tampa Bay Pro-Life Alliance members attended the annual gala for New Life Solutions and the Pregnancy Center of Pinellas County. The gala was an elegant event located at The St Petersburg Colisuem where we were encouraged to support this ministry for LIFE.
We are so thankful to share this life story of how much of a blessing ALL children are!
Lets all be encouraged by these two stories of how to reach campus students with the messsage of Life and the Gospel!
Recently, at our monthly meeting, the team discussed outreach opportunities. We wanted good places to get Personhood Amendment petitions signed as well as hand out 180 movie cards and tickets to our free upcoming event Tampa Bay Celebration of Life Rally.
We have the honor of presenting Defender of the Month for October 2012 to our dear friend Sol Pitchon! Sol serves as President and CEO of New Life Solutions/The Pregnancy Center of Pinellas County.
Several amazing programs are seated under New Life Solutions including:
More2Life: A youth development program which educates teens about making healthy choices and equips them to avoid dangerous behaviors such as drugs, alcohol, and premarital sex.
This month we are shining the spot light on Minster Reggie Hobbs local pro-life organization, Celebration of Black Life. Below he has given us information about the work they are doing and has listed a prayer request.

Why did you become involved in Pro-Life Work: After watching the powerful documentary "180 Movie" I was compelled and challenged to do more than just have an opinion. The Lord put a burning passion in me to be a voice for those who have no voice! I have made it my mission to do all I can for the Pro-life cause. Abortion will end in the name of Jesus!
10 of us went out to the All Women's Health Center abortion clinic to peacefully pray, hold signs, and sing worship songs.
One woman at the clinic took our brochure with free information on the risks of abortion and info about local pregnancy centers. (who want to help mothers choose life)

Below is a link to the video created by National Pro Life Alliance (no affiliation expect same passion) to promote awareness and encourage signatures for the petition - Ultrasound Informed Contest Act. They ask the question - Are Ultrasounds "Bad for Women" or do they soften hearts? ~ Kristina
Pro-Life Friends! Billy Graham is now 93! Wow!! He has been a faithful servant of our Lord. Below is a powerful prayer from him. May it encourage us in the fight for LIFE!

One of the most important things we can do to give a voice to the unborn and make a difference is vote! Early elections begin now, so to help educate us on where the candidates stand TBPLA has provided the link below to voter guides that show where the candidates stand on important issues.
In the Pro-Life movement we come up against all kinds of arguments from the opposition for why it is okay for people to kill a baby in the womb. One of the hardest for us to respond to is the rape scenario.
In history, before Roe v. Wade legalized abortion for any reason, it was legal in cases of rape to abort the baby. Rape is one of the most horrific sins that I can imagine. In fact, it is so horrible I can't even imagine it happening to me without shuttering in my skin. So how can we tell a victim of rape that she must give birth to a baby conceived through this unthinkable sin?
The following post was written by our Teen Director Laura!
I have some very exciting news to share with you all. This fall, we will be launching a teen pro-life group within the PPLA! The purpose of this group is to educate teens about abortion, equip them with the skills they need to become effective witnesses for life, and provide them with opportunities to put their faith in Christ and pro-life beliefs into action.
Our guest post this week comes from a local student who is actively involved in pro-life outreach. Here is the argumentative essay she wrote and submitted to an instructor this year. Enjoy!
I am thrilled to share another post from our friend Maureen Ahern! Last Friday, Maureen wrote:
